In 2013-2014, I participated in OregonBILDS, a dynamic collaboration of classroom instruction and practical, real-world application of design, construction, and client relation skills.  Collaboratively, we designed and built one residence.  Our project explored the nature of sustainable architecture in relation to affordable residential design.  We engaged the fundamentals of residential design and construction as we conscientiously developed an appropriate design solution for a typical residential site.
