The Giant Spirograph Experiment
The idea was born in a meeting of the Euclid Study Group I lead as head of the University of Winnipeg Mathematics Students Association. We were studying ancient Greek geometry. One of the students gifted me a spirograph kit, and I was inspired - I set out to design a machine that would draw giant spirographs.
First painted with Art City as a workshop with inner city youth in Winnipeg. Then done in a back alley in combination with a late night music show. Lastly, spirographs were painted at the University of Oregon to announce the H.O.P.E.S. conference (Holistic Options for Planet Earth Sustainability).
